📄 Verifying Your Account – What You Need to Know

To meet strict regulatory requirements, we may ask you to verify your identity and address. This is known as KYC (Know Your Customer) and is required by law to help prevent fraud, money laundering, and to ensure responsible gambling.

You may be asked to complete this at any time, even if you’ve verified with us before.

We will always let you know what information or documentation we require, and you should be able to upload it securely on our site from the verification portal, which looks like this:

To complete verification, we typically need two documents:

1. Proof of Identity
   
   
2. Proof of Address
   
   

If you have a UK driving licence, that would be great! You can use this as both your proof of identity and proof of address, as long as:

• It's in date
  
  
• It shows your current home address
  
  
• The photo clearly shows all four corners and edges
  
  

⚠️ Most rejections happen when the driving licence is cut off, blurry, or out of date. Please make sure the full document is visible in the image. You can check out some examples of accepted and rejected driver's licenses at the bottom of this article. This will help you get verified as quickly as possible.

If you don't have a driving license or it is not valid as proof of address, don't worry, we accept a wide range of documents which you can check out below:

🪪 Proof of Identity – Accepted Documents

We accept clear, colour photos of the following:

• UK/International Passport (must include the full photo page with MRZ code at the bottom & Signature)
  
  
• UK Driving Licence (Front & Back)
  
  
• Military ID Card
  
  
• UK Citizen Card
  
  

❌ We do not accept:

• Home Office Application Registration Cards (commonly used by asylum seekers)
  
  
• Damaged or partially visible documents
  
  
• Birth Certificate

• Screenshots or scanned copies – these are not accepted
  
  
• Passport not signed
  
  

🏠 Proof of Address – Accepted Documents

We accept original PDF documents or clear photos of the following (dated within the last 3 months):

• Utility bills (water, gas, electricity, or landline phone)
  
  
• Bank, Building Society or Credit Union statements
  
  
• Tax Revenue Letters
  
  
• Council Tax bills
  
  
• Government-issued letters
  
  
• Insurance documents (except travel insurance)

⚠️ Most common issues:

• Outdated documents (older than 3 months)
  
  
• Screenshots or photos of screens – these are not accepted
  
  
• Documents that do not show all corners, are blurry, or missing personal details
  
  

✅ Your proof of address must:

• Be dated within the last 3 months
  
  
• Clearly show your name and address
  
  
• Show the logo or letterhead of the issuing company
  
  
• Be a full copy—not redacted or cropped
  
  

If you’re submitting an online statement, download the original PDF directly from your bank or utility provider’s website before uploading it.
