Why did you let me gamble without checking affordability?

The industry regulations (here) require affordability to be checked at a specific net deposit or loss level. As of 28 February 2025 if you lose £150 in a period of 30 days you will be subject to the check if you have not previously had one. This is a soft search and may appear on your credit search history and will not affect your credit score or chance of being approved for credit.
